Men's Cross Country Competes at Royals Challenge

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Coker men's cross country team ran at the Royals Challenge in Charlotte, N.C. on Friday (Oct. 8).

The Cobras were paced by sophomore Arat Joanico-Gonzalez, who posted a time of 28:04.1 to lead the way. He was followed by fellow sophomore Austin Bates, who clocked in with a 28:57.1. Freshmen Alex Woods and Josh Zeigler turned in performances of 28:59.3 and 29:04.1 respectively. 

The Cobras team score was good enough for a 16th place finish amongst the field of 25. The Cobras will be back in action on Saturday Oct. 23 when they travel to Charlotte, N.C. to compete at the South Atlantic Conference Championships. Coverage can be found at www.cokercobras.com
