SALISBURY, N.C. - The Coker men's cross country team kicked off their season by competing in the Fleet Feet XC Invite on Saturday (Sept. 4) in Salisbury, N.C. 

Sophomore Arat Joanico led the way for the Cobras, finishing with a time of 30:24.0 in the 8k race. Sophomore Austin Bates and freshman Josh Zeigler also contributed to the team effort with solid times of 31:53.4, and 32:19.1 respectively. 

The Cobras will be back in action on Saturday Sept. 18, when they travel to Wingate, N.C. to compete in the Bulldog Stampede.
