Cobras Top St. Andrews for Sixth Straight Victory

LAURINBURG, N.C. – The Coker College men's volleyball team topped St. Andrews 3-1 (25-27, 25-19, 25-23, 25-19) Tuesday (Feb. 21) evening for their sixth straight victory and improved their record to 9-2 on the season.

Jackson Gilbert led the attack for the Cobras with a team leading 13 kills. Shane King made significant contributions on the offensive end as well with a career best 12 kills on the night. Defensively, Gary Baker led the Navy and Gold in digs with 10, while Aleksa Bijelic, Shane King, and Colton Parson all laid down one solo block each.

The Cobras will be back in action on Friday, Feb. 24 when they travel to Barton to take on Bulldogs at 7 p.m.
