Cobras Slay Knights in Straight Sets

LAURINBURG, N.C. – The Coker Cobra men's volleyball team picked up a dominating 3-0 win over the St. Andrews Knights on Wednesday (Feb. 17) evening. The Cobras swept through all three sets with scores of 25-10, 25-9 and 25-10 to improve to 6-4 on the year. 

The Cobras spread the wealth on offense as every single hitter earned at least one kill in the match. Artur Cabral, Joao Victor Santos and Andrew Washam led the attack. Cabral had a team high six kills, while Santos and Washam had five kills each. Aleksa Bijelic and Colton Parsons paced the offense with 18 and 12 assists, respectively. Parsons also had four service aces.

Coker will be back in action again on Saturday (Feb. 20) for a home match against Limestone College. First serve is set for 2 p.m. at the DeLoach Center.
