Cobras Knock Off Knights in Straight Sets

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker College men's volleyball team picked up a 3-0 win over the visiting St. Andrews University Knights on Tuesday (Jan. 26).

The straight sets win came by scores of 25-10, 25-13 and 25-9.

As a team, the Cobras hit .460, racking up 30 kills and just seven errors. Andrew Washam and Artur Cabral led the attack with five kills apiece. Luke Grupe and James Fulton picked up four kills each, while Grupe earned five block assists. Leshon Alexander belted three kills, while Luke Hansen recorded three kills and nine assists. Colton Parsons paced the offense with a team-high 12 assists.

The Cobras will be back in action on Saturday (Jan. 30) when they travel to Gaffney, S.C. to take on the Limestone College Saints. First serve is set for 2 p.m.
