Cobras Sweep First Match of Road Trip

LANCASTER, PA- The Cobras men's volleyball team swept its first road contest of the season, defeating Lancaster Bible College in straight sets. 

Coker took the opening set 25-18, and the back-and-forth second set 25-20. They would win the deciding third set 25-10, the most commanding score of the night.

Gabriel Castro was the model of consistency on the court for the Cobras, excelling at serving and serve receive. The freshman also landed several service aces on the night.

Artur Cabral played well in the front row, knocking down some thunderous kills and tremendous blocks.

Liam Flaherty was solid defensively; making solid digs and being efficient with serve receive.

The Cobras go right back at it tomorrow (Sat. Jan. 16) when they take on Eastern Mennonite University. The action is slated for a 6:00 p.m. start.
