Cobras Compete In USC Outdoor Open

The Coker University Men's Track & Field team would travel to Columbia, SC to compete in the USC Outdoor Open on April 20th.

100m

In the 100m, Yazeare Pearsall-Garcia would be the first to cross the line for the Cobras finishing with a time of 10.79. Jeffery Stiles would be the next Cobra to finish with a time of 10.92. Donovan Jones would round out the field for the Cobras with a time of 10.99.

200m

In the 200m, Tyler Wanzer would finish with a time of 27.25 for the Cobras.

400m

In the 400m, Jones would take the track again for the Cobras as he would finish with a time of 49.15.

800m

In the 800m, Austin Bates would be the first Cobra to finish, crossing the line at 2:07.05. Josh Zeigler would round out the 800m for the Cobras finishing with a time of 2:11.80.

1500m

In the 1500m, Bates would be the first to finish for the Cobras with a time of 4:29.06. Zeigler would round out the 1500m for the Cobras with a time of 4:35.14.

In The Field

Discus

In Discus, Jaden Wright would step into the circle for the Cobras landing a best throw of 22.09m (72-05).

High Jump

In High Jump, Braeden Rasco was able to land a best jump of 1.70m (5.07.00).

Javelin

In Javelin, William Frazier would take the runway for the Cobras and was able to land his best throw at 42.47m (139-04).

Pole Vault

In Pole Vault, Luke Baker would take the runway for the Cobras clearing a height of 3.67m (12-00.50).

Shot Put

In Shot Put, Wright would take the circle for the Cobras once again, having a best distance of 8.74m (28-08.25).

Relays

4x100m Relay

In the 4x100m relay, Coker would send out the team of Miller, Stiles, Jones, & Pearsall-Garcia would combine for a time of 42.14.

The Cobras next meet will be on May 1st, as they will compete in the SAC Outdoor Track & Field Championship meet.
