Men's Tennis Falls To Lenoir-Rhyne On The Road

Hickory, NC - Men's Tennis dropped a 6-1 road decision to the Bears of Lenoir-Rhyne this afternoon.

Both doubles matched that were played to completion went in favor of the Bears as the Cobras dropped tough matches on courts one and two. Andy Huyhn and Joao Casas Moreira were up 4-2 in their match on court three when it was called.

On to singles, Coker dropped matches on five of the six courts, giving the Bears the win. The lone victory for the Cobras came from court two, where Tom Lamers pulled out a gritty win in a third set tiebreak with a score of 3-6, 6-4, 10-6.

The Cobras will be back in action this Saturday, March 30th, as the Cavaliers of UVA-Wise come to town. First serve will be at an early 10 AM slot at Byerly Park.
