Men's Tennis Falls In Heartbreaker To Limestone

Gaffney, SC - Men's Tennis fell in a heartbreaker this afternoon, dropping a 4-3 road decision to the Saints of Limestone.

The Cobras' doubles teams continued their dominant showing, winning the doubles point yet again to start the day off right. Samuel Winter and Bernardo Peralta partnered up at second doubles while Andy Huyhn and Joao Casas Moreira came together at third doubles, with both duos earning 6-2 wins heading into singles play.

With wins from Tom Lamers (6-4, 6-4) and Peralta (1-6, 6-2, 7-5), the Cobras were knotted up with a 3-3 team score with only one match to be played. That match featured Huyhn, who took the first set 6-3 with things looking up for Coker. However, he was unable to secure the victory after dropping the remaining two sets 6-3 and 6-4, giving Limestone the 4-3 triumph.

The Cobras will be back at home at Byerly Park on Saturday against Carson Newman. First serve for that match is scheduled for 1 PM ET.
