HICKORY, N.C. - The Coker College men's tennis team (10-9 overall) fell to the Lenoir-Rhyne University Bears 7-2 Sunday (Apr. 8) afternoon in South Atlantic Conference action.
Mark Watt cruised to a 6-0, 6-2 victory at No. 1 singles, while Justus Lehman grinded out a 6-0, 4-6, 6-2 win at No. 5 singles. Watt improved to 15-4 on the season and Lehman upgraded his singles record to 14-3.
The Cobras will be back in action on Wednesday (Apr. 11) when they host Catawba at 2 p.m. in conference action.
