BELMONT, N.C. – The Coker men's tennis team completed their 2012 regular season by defeating the Belmont Abbey Crusaders, 6-3 on Sunday afternoon.

Guillermo Aylon and Billy Simpson earned an 8-0 win at No. 2 doubles, while James Corfield and Ricardo Perez won at No. 3 doubles with a score of 8-6.

Corfield and Perez earned two more wins for the Cobras with victories at No. 4 and No. 6 singles. Leonardo Lima was victorious at the No. 1 singles spot with scores of 6-3, 6-4 and Manel Estruga won at No. 3, 6-0, 6-2.

The win improves the Cobras to 6-4 in Conference Carolinas play.

The Cobras will now wait to see who they will face in the Conference Carolinas Tennis Tournament April 20-22 at the Palmetto Tennis Center in Sumter, S.C.
