Coker Tennis to Host USTA Campus Kids Day

HARTSVILLE, S.C. –  The Coker College tennis teams will join with the United States Tennis Association (USTA) to host a Campus Kids' Day on Feb. 12, when the Cobras play USC-Aiken.

According to the USTA, Campus Kids' Days are "designed to expose current and aspiring junior players (and their parents and coaches) to college tennis." Middle-and grade-school students in attendance will be eligible for giveaways and free food.

The Campus Kids' Day is an opportunity for the relationship between junior tennis and college tennis to grow, for players to experience college tennis, and to build a stronger bond with their USTA section.

Campus Kids' Day is a program that takes place around the United States throughout the tennis season.  From top Division I programs to Division II programs like Coker College, Campus Kids' Day is an exciting event that strives to bring the community together and raise excitement for the game of tennis.

All local middle-and grade-school students interested in tennis are invited to attend the men's and women's matches beginning at 1:30 p.m.
