CHARLOTTE, N.C.- The Coker men’s tennis team took the court on Saturday in a Conference Carolinas match against regionally ranked No. 18 and nationally ranked No. 39 Queens University of Charlotte. The Cobras battled hard, but were unable to come out with a victory, losing 9-0.

James Corfield (Auckland, New Zealand) played a hard fought match at No. 2 singles losing 7-5, 7-6 and Tycho Lamberigts (Netherlands) set his match to tie-breakers at No. 6 singles losing 6-1, 3-6, 10-7.

Coker will now prepare for their next week of play that includes a home match on Wednesday against Benedict College at 3:00 p.m. and another conference match on Saturday, March 5 against Barton College at home at 1:30 p.m.
