HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker’s men’s tennis team suffered their first Conference Carolinas loss of the season on Tuesday with a 9-0 loss to Lees-McRae. The men battled hard, but were unable to come away with a win over the Bobcats.

James Corfield (Auckland, New Zealand) and Guillermo Aylou (Zaragoza, Spain) came up just short in No. 1 singles losing 8-5, while Corfield’s singles match was also close. He lost at No. 1 singles 7-5, 6-3.

The Cobras will look to redeem themselves on Friday when they host the Crusaders of Belmont Abbey at 3:00 p.m. at the Coker Tennis Courts.
