HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker men’s tennis team dropped their seventh Conference Carolinas match of the season on Friday, with a 9-0 loss to Queens University of Charlotte. The loss drops the Cobras to 1-7 in conference play and 1-12 on the year.

The Cobras played two tough matches at No. 1 doubles and No. 1 singles. Juan Vallejo-Gonzalez (Quito, Ecuador) and Evan Schreiner (Seneca, S.C.) fell at No. 1 doubles 8-4, while Vallejo-Gonzalez lost a 6-2, 6-4 battle at No.1 singles.

Coker will play their final match of the season on Sunday, at home against Limestone College starting at 1:00 p.m. Coach Cheng and the Cobras will honor their four seniors with a special ceremony prior to the start of the match.
