Hartsville, S.C. – With the match tied at four, the fate of both teams rested squarely on the shoulders of Coker’s Andrew Chinnes (Hemmingway, SC) and Lenoir-Rhyne’s Matt Gaines at No. 6 singles, and neither one was willing to back down from the other. It took three sets to decide a victor, but in the end it was Gaines and the Bears of Lenoir-Rhyne coming out with the win as he defeated Chinnes, 5-7, 6-4, 6-3.

The loss marks the Cobra men’s sixth in a row, dropping them to 0-6 on the year, while LR improves to 5-6 on the year.
