Laurinburg, NC- The Cobra Men’s tennis team picked up their first victory of the season on Wednesday afternoon, taking down the Knights of St. Andrews College by a 7-2 margin

The Cobras set the tone winning two out of three doubles points with Tyson Thompson (Lenoir, NC) and Jeremiah Die (Summerville, SC) cruising at the No. 3 position winning 8-0.  Danny Nash (Hilton Head, SC) and Evan Schreiner (Seneca, SC) also rolled to victory winning 8-2 at the No. 2 spot.

In singles, the Cobras sealed the deal winning five out of a possible six singles matches.  Schreiner and Dye both picked up their second wins of the day, while Hunter Batts (Greenville, SC), Juan Vallejo-Gonzalez (Quito, Ecuador) and Esteban Teran (Quito, Ecuador) notched wins for the Cobras.

The Cobras return to the courts tomorrow as they travel to take on Presbyterian College in Clinton, SC.  Match time is slated for 2P.M.
