Salisbury, NC-  In effort to find the winning path, the Cobra men’s tennis team changed up their doubles teams on Monday afternoon at Catawba College, but still fell by a 7-2 margin.

The plan seemed quite right as the double team of Tyson Thompson (Lenoir, NC) and Jeremiah Dye (Summerville, SC) rolled at number three by a score of 8-3, while Danny Nash (Hilton Head, SC) and Evan Schreiner (Senaca, SC) battled back by from being down 7-4 to take the match 9-8 (5) in a tiebreaker to give the Cobras a 2-1 lead heading into singles play.

However, the Cobras were unable to keep it going in singles play as they were swept at all six positions in straight sets.

The Cobras will return to the courts in search of their first win on March 29th, as they play host to the Saints of Limestone.
