Hartsville, SC- The Coker men’s tennis team suffered their second straight loss to 21st ranked Anderson University by a score of 9-0.  The Trojans of Anderson jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead by sweeping all three doubles matches by scores of 8-2, 8-3, and 8-0.

In singles the Cobra’s were unable to scratch the win column as they dropped all 6 singles matches.  Sophomore James Schroeder (Windsor, Ontario) and Evan Schreiner (Seneca, SC) both played well with Schroeder losing in 3 sets by a score of  3-6, 6-3, (10-3) and Schreiner losing in a hard fault match by a score of 6-3, 7-6(3).

The Cobras swing back to action on Tuesday as they play host to Wingate University on Tuesday at 2pm.
