Hartsville, SC- The Cobras won a big match on Wednesday, beating one of their conference rivals Pfeiffer University 7-2.  The Cobras went out firing taking all three of doubles as Dustin Yager and Danny Nash won 9-7, Duncan Grew and James Schroeder won 8-5, and Tim Morton and Tyson Thompson won 8-1.

 

The Cobras would then take 4 out of the 6 singles winning at Positions 1, 2, 4 and 5.  Duncan Grew and Tim Morton fought hard splitting sets with their opponents and then winning in deciding third sets.  James Schroeder played well at the No. 4 spot winning 6-3, 7-6 (1) and Danny Nash also looked good winning 6-3, 6-0.

 

The Cobras will now take week off and come back after Spring Break to play at Clemson University March 12, at 7:00 P.M.
