Hartsville, SC- Head Men’s and Women’s Tennis Coach, Alvin Cheng announced the signing of two players to National Letters of Intent to play tennis at Coker for the fall of 2006. James Schroeder will join the men’s team, while Lindsey Crighton will join the women.

 

Schroeder, a Windsor, Ontario Canada, native, is a one of the Top 20 singles in the Ontario Tennis Association, along with being the 2006 Provincial High School Singles champion. He is an honor role student and has been a five year volunteer at the local Paralympics, as well as an instructor at the Parkside Tennis Club.

 

When asked about attending Coker in the fall Schroeder said, “I’m very excited to be a part of the Coker Family. The school offers a variety of academic programs that interest me and being able to play tennis year round in South Carolina is great! I look forward to improving my game with Coach Cheng’s help, as well as making an immediate impact on the court come September.”
