Coker got off to a good start in doubles as Byford and Grew won 8-4 at number 1 doubles. Danny Nash and Dustin Yager had a good win at 2 doubles winning 8-6 and Tim Morton and Tyson Thompson earned a 8-4 win at 3 doubles. With the 3-0 advantage, Coker came out hot in singles and got a quick victory through Tim Morton at number 3 singles. Morton controlled the match from the baseline and earned the Cobras a 6-2 6-2 win.
Matt Byford clinched the victory for Coker in his final CVAC conference match of his career. Byford won the first set 6-2 and closed out the second set 7-5 to give Coker an unassailable five wins. Byford ends his senior CVAC season with a .500 record in both singles and doubles as well as a current 8-2 run in singles and doubles. His double partner Duncan Grew was next to earn a win as he closed out a 7-6 6-0 win at number 1 singles. After a very tight first set, Grew raced through the second set with some aggressive hitting from the back. Danny Nash fought hard to earn a good win at number 4 singles. After winning the opening set 6-1, his dangerous opponent came back to force a final set tie-break. Nash came up with some tough volleys in the tie-break to earn the win.
Dustin Yager had the most one sided victory of the day as he crushed his opponent 6-0 6-0 at number 5 singles with some classy winners. Hunter Batts was the last remaining match on court and he battled well to win 7-6 6-3 at number 6 singles. The Cobras move to 4-12 on the season with the win and are 2-7 in CVAC play. The season ends with a non-conference match against nationally ranked
