Matt Byford had a tough task at number 1 singles where he faced off against the nations 9th ranked singles player. Despite playing some top class tennis, the match swung on some stylish winners from Lander’s number one as the match ended 6-2 6-3 in Lander’s favor. Danny Nash played a good match at number 3 singles and he was unfortunate to go down by a 6-2 6-2 scoreline. Lander dominated at other positions where they lost no more than a game on each court, singles and doubles.
The Cobras move to 3-9 for the season and 0-6 versus nationally ranked and division 1 opposition. They next play CVAC conference rivals
