DUE WEST, SC – Erskine pulled out a 5-4 victory over Coker Saturday afternoon in men’s collegiate tennis.  CC is off now until March 31, when its spring break trip to Florida begins with a match against Florida Institute of Technology at 2:00 PM. 

The Cobras led 2-1 after doubles play thanks to an 8-5 victory by Matt Byford and Duncan Grew and an 8-4 triumph by Tim Morton and Tyson Thompson.

In singles play, Byford’s 6-3, 6-3 victory gave Coker three wins but the team only had one more win in the final five matches.  Dustin Yager went three sets to earn a 6-4, 4-6, 6-2 victory at number four singles.
