HARTSVILLE, SC — The Coker College tennis teams pulled off their first sweep of the season with the women defeating St. Andrews 8-1 and the men winning 5-4.  The men are now 1-2 on the season and the women improve to 2-2.

The men were in more of a fight but persevered when freshman Tyson Thompson pulled out a 6-4, 6-3 victory at number six singles.  Matt Byford and Duncan Grew also won in singles competition and teamed up for an 8-4 win at number one doubles.  Tim Morton and Thompson took the number three doubles match 8-5.
