KANSAS CITY, Mo. (August 16, 2023) – United Soccer Coaches announced on Wednesday the College Team Academic Award winners, recognized for their exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2022-23 academic year. The Cobras were recognized for finishing the year with a 3.38 GPA.
A total of 808 soccer teams (311 men, 497 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2022-23 academic year. Of that total, 181 schools had both their men's and women's programs recognized.
United Soccer Coaches annually celebrates the academic achievements of teams whose student-athletes collectively demonstrate a commitment to excellence in their studies over the course of a full academic year.
