Fellenz Lifts Coker to 2-1 OT Win at Mars Hill

MARS HILL, N.C. – Coker's Ian Fellenz buried a header into the back of the net in the 92nd minute to give the Cobras a 2-1 overtime win over the Mars Hill Lions in South Atlantic Conference men's soccer action on Saturday (Oct. 3) night.

Mars Hill was first to strike with a goal in the 30th minute play and the score remained in favor of the Lions heading into halftime.

The Cobras evened the score at one apiece in the 86th minute with a blast from Jaedon Williamson off a pass from Jarrian Cutrer. With the score tied at the end of regulation, the match went to overtime where Fellenz's game-winner came off a corner kick from Mads Aagurd giving Coker the victory.

Kyndle Cobb picked up the win in goal with three saves.

The Cobras will be back in action on Wednesday (Oct. 7) when they host the Bulldogs of Wingate University in a SAC match. Kick-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
