GREENWOOD, S.C. - The Coker men's soccer team dropped its non-conference match to the Lander Bearcats, 3-0, on Wednesday (Sept. 17) night.

After a scoreless first half of action, the Bearcats turned up the offense, scoring three unanswered goals in the second half.

The Cobras rattled off 11 shots, but were unable to find the back of the net. Leading the way for the Navy and Yellow were Jordan Snell, Ian Fellenz, Connor Norton-Baker, Alvaro Urena and Chris Martin with two shots each.

Kyndle Cobb led the defense with four saves in net.

Coker will return home for its next match on Saturday (Sept. 20). The Cobras will host the Trojans of Anderson University in a South Atlantic Conference match at 7 p.m. It will be Prostate Cancer and Hartsville Chamber of Commerce Night. Members of the Hartsville Chamber can pick up free passes to the match at the Chamber office.
