Coker Retains No. 5 Ranking in Southeast Region

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker College men's soccer team held onto its No. 5 ranking according to the latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) and Continental Tire Division II Men's Southeast Region poll.

The Cobras went 1-1 last week with a 2-0 win over regionally ranked No. 8 Lenoir-Rhyne, and a tough 1-0 double-overtime loss to regionally ranked No. 4 Queens. Daniel Jackson scored twice in the match against Lenoir-Rhyne, and Kyndle Cobb made six saves versus Queens.

Coker continues its season with a non-conference matchup with Mount Olive College at 7 p.m. Wednesday (Oct. 2) at home.
