Cobras and Trojans Play to 0-0 Draw

MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. – Coker and Mount Olive battled to a 0-0 draw in Conference Carolinas men's soccer action on Tuesday night. The tie moves the Cobras to 11-3-1 overall and 7-1-1 in league play.

The regionally ranked No. 10 Cobras are currently in second place in the Conference Carolinas standings with one regular season match remaining against first place Limestone at 7 p.m. on Saturday (Oct. 27) at the Coker Soccer Field.

In a very physical match there were 35 total fouls and five cards issued in the 110 minutes of play between the Cobras and the Trojans. Coker held the advantage on shots 11-10 and James Sweeney made four saves in the goal for the Cobras, earning his fourth shut out in the last five matches.
