HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker men's soccer team opens the home portion of its 2012 season at 7 p.m. on Tuesday night against the Florida Institute of Technology Panthers at the Coker Soccer Field. The match will be video-streamed and can be viewed for free at www.cokercobras.com.

Sophomore Matt Taylor netted the game-winner against Florida Southern, while seniors Eric Stiefield, Noah Lascell and Niko Tirkkonen each scored a goal.

Florida Tech is 1-0 after a season opening win over St. Thomas. Sophomore Drake Hillman scored the lone goal for the Panthers.

This will be the third meeting between Coker and Florida Tech in as many years. Coker has won the last two matches; 1-0 in 2010 and 2-1 in 2011.
