HARTSVILLE, S.C. - Coker beat Pfeiffer thanks to juniors Rommel Fondin (Palm Bay, Fla.), Alan Cuevas (Houston, Texas), and Carlos Recinos (Houston, Texas).  Coker is still undefeated since returning from their road trip to Florida

Fondin scored first (unassisted, 5:53) for Coker followed by Cuevas (A: Recinos, 59:52).  Coker took a total of 13 shots and put eight on net.  Junior keeper James Sweeney (Huntingtown, Md.) made two saves.   Fondin's goal came off of a deflection from a Falcon and Cuevas scored off a corner kick.

Pfeiffer's lone goal came from freshman Taylor Scalera (A: N. Andrade, 69:45) who beat Sweeney off of a corner.  Falcon keeper freshman Zach Liles (Cumming, Ga.) made six saves for Pfeiffer.

Coker is now 8-1 on the season and 5-0 in Conference Carolinas matches.  Pfeiffer falls to 1-8, 0-4 in conference play.  Coker's next match will be Tuesday, October 4, against Mount Olive College at 7:00 p.m.
