HARTSVILLE, SC - Senior defender Mike Greenaway scored off a corner kick in the 75th minute to give Francis Marion University a 2-1 win over local-rival Coker College, Tuesday evening (Sept. 27) in non-conference men's soccer action.

FMU snaps a two-match slide and ups it record to 6-4-0, while Coker drops to 2-6-0.  It is the Patriots' ninth straight victory over the Cobras.

Greenaway tallied the match-winning score off a Jonathan Bartomioli corner kick with 15 minutes remaining.

Sophomore Shondell Busby gave FMU an early 1-0 lead in the ninth minute, when he scored on a Bartomioli assist.  Bartomioli leads FMU with five assists.  Coker tied the match 20 minutes into the second half with a goal by sophomore midfielder Olivier Harper.

FMU senior Jonathan Runion got the win in goal for the Patriots. He survived a Coker penalty kick early in the second half. 

FMU will play host to 21st-ranked Lander University for a Peach Belt Conference match, Saturday at 3:30 p.m., while Coker hosts St. Andrews Presbyterian College the same afternoon at 1 p.m.
