Hartsville, SC- Senior Aaron Osteen/ Black Mountain, NC and freshman Chris Freeman/ Clemmons, NC were the guiding lights in Coker’s season opening victory over Wingate University in college soccer Friday Night.

 

Osteen set the tone for the game and provided the defense needed to secure the victory with his 18 saves, while Freeman provided the offense with two goals. Nick Gigliotti/Jamestown, NC assisted Freeman on his second goal of the game.

 

Providing the lone offense for the Bulldogs was James Lavery/ Belfast, N. Ireland, while goalkeeper Brian Noell/ Hickory, NC had four saves on the night.

 

The Cobras return to action on Saturday September, 3 traveling to Montreat College in North Carolina.
