HARTSVILLE, SC – Coker’s first trip to the CVAC Tournament in nine years ended quickly as top-seeded Queens University of Charlotte shut-out their visitors 4-0 in men’s collegiate soccer.  CC finishes the season at 2-12-1 overall, while the Royals advance on to face Mt. Olive with a 12-1-1 record.   

The Cobras put some early pressure on Queens but the talented Royals eventually found the mark in the 21st minute.  Simon Wulliman made it 2-0 11 minutes later and that’s where the score remained through the opening half. 

Demetrius Donald made it 3-0 at the 50:22 mark and QUC completed the scoring in the 87th minute. This time Matt Herbstritt placed a John Ross pass into a wide open net.

Junior Aaron Osteen/Black Mountain, NC played the full match and made eight saves on 23 shots.  Bruce Mottern manned the net for Queens and made one save on seven shots.
