Cobras Take Down the Pioneers on the Road

The Coker Men's Lacrosse team traveled to Greeneville, Tenn. to face off against Tusculum in an intense match-up at Pioneer Field. The game started off with both teams trading goals, but Tusculum managed to take an early lead. However, Coker quickly responded with goals from Elijah Utz and Augie Ford to tie up the game.

In the second quarter, Coker took control of the game with goals from Zyaire Marshall, Justin Beighey, and another from Utz. The defense stepped up and shut down Tusculum's offense, keeping them scoreless in the quarter.

In the third quarter, Marshall continued his scoring streak with two more goals, while Mason Kenworthy and Kaleb Hiltz also found the back of the net for Coker. Tusculum managed to score a few goals of their own, but Coker maintained their lead going into the final quarter.

In the fourth quarter, Tusculum made a comeback attempt with goals from Wesley Phillips, Chase Penner, and Ben Hobday. But Coker's defense held strong, and Utz sealed the win with a goal in the final minutes of the game.
