Coker Falls to Limestone

Hartsville, SC - The Coker University Men's Lacrosse Team dropped their Staurday (April 1) game to Limestone by a score of 19-4.

Limestone started off heavily applying pressure to the Cobras, scoring four in the first quarter. Limestone began the second quarter in similar fashion to that of the first and put up another three goals before Jackson Duke was able to retaliate with a goal of his own. This brought the score to 7-1 halfway through the second quarter. Limestone finsihed the first half of the game up by nine goals. Ryan Forehand was the next to score for the Cobras, still fighting despite the now 11 point lead by the Saints. Cal Gibson also put a goal in the back of the cage to round out the Cobra's third goal for the night. Elijah Utz finished out the night for Coker with a goal in the final two minutes. 

KJ Seymour and Ethan Hofert both put in time between the pipes for the Cobras, Seymour getting 13:54 minutes and Hofert getting 46:06. Hofert registered nine saves while Seymour registered three. 

The Cobras will be returning to the field Wednesday (April 12) against Newberry. The first face off is set for 4:00 PM in Newberry, SC. Live streaming and stats will be available at www.cokercobras.com
