ROCK HILL, S.C. - Coker College goalie Chris Hagy has been named the South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week for games played March 19-25, the League announced today.

Hagy, a freshman from Bel Air, Md., was spectacular between the pipes as he led the Cobras to a pair of SAC victories last week over Newberry and Mars Hill. He allowed just nine goals in two games with a 4.65 goals against average and made 18 total saves. On the season, Hagy has collected 86 saves and sports a 8.99 goals against average, good for second in the conference.

This is the first player of the week honor for Hagy. The marketing major is the son of Bob and Kris Hagy.
