HICKORY, N.C. – The Coker College men's lacrosse team dropped its South Atlantic Conference opener to the Lenoir-Rhyne University Bears 22-9 on Saturday afternoon (Mar. 5).
Mike Martiello led the charge for the Cobras, scoring three goals. Garrett Kilgore, Josh Smith, Adam Zinsmeister, Brad Clements, Shane Wilson and Rylee Marsh all chipped in a goal each, with Zinsmeister dishing three assists, Wilson dishing two and Marsh handing out one.
The Cobras will be back in action on Tuesday (Mar. 8) when they travel to take on the Saint Leo University Lions in a non-conference matchup. Opening faceoff set for 7 p.m.
