Coker Men’s Lacrosse Inks Seven for 2015-16

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker College head men's lacrosse coach David Olliver announced today that Brandon Alvarez, TJ Craft, Garrett Kilgore, Adam Roberts, Van Seiler, Tom Williamson and Tim Wright agreed to play for the Cobras. All seven will join the team in the fall of 2015.

Alvarez is a midfielder from Port Royal, S.C., where he attends Beaufort High School. He is a member and team captain of the Beaufort lacrosse club team and Team Palmetto.

Brandon is the son of Leah Smith, and plans on being an education major when he arrives at Coker.

Craft, a defender, will join the Cobras from Central York High School in York, Pa. He is a three-year member of the lacrosse team, as well as a member of the football team at Central York.

TJ is the son of Jen and Bill Craft. He will focus on pre-law when he attends Coker.

Kilgore is an attacker for the Wildcats men's lacrosse team at Whitewater High School in Fayetteville, Ga. He is a four-year letter winner and a two-time most valuable offensive player and Southside All-Area team selection.

Garrett is the son of Kevin and Marcie Kilgore. He plans on majoring in business administration with a marketing concentration.

Roberts is a native of Lawrenceville, Ga., where he is a defender for Collins Hill High School. A three-year varsity lacrosse player at Collins Hill, Roberts also plays club lacrosse for LB3 Lacrosse.

Adam is the son of Lesley and Ron Roberts. He is an undecided major.

Seiler is a long-stick midfielder from Winter Springs, Fla., where he is a member of the Winter Springs High School men's lacrosse team. He is varsity captain and a defensive MVP for the Bears.

Van is the son of Calvin Seiler and Kathleen McDonald. He plans on majoring in Computer Science at Coker.

Williamson is defender from Kemptville, Ontario, Canada, where he attends North Grenville District High School. A member of the lacrosse, football and weightlifting teams at North Grenville; Williamson is also a member of the Ottawa Nemesis and Ottawa Capitals club lacrosse teams. In October, he helped guide the Nemesis to the Ontario U19 Championship.

Tom is the son of Wendy and Kerry Williamson. He plans on majoring in physical education and sports studies with a concentration in exercise science at Coker.

Wright is from Warrenton, Va., where he is a midfielder for the Fauquier High School Falcons. Along with being a four-year varsity player for the men's lacrosse team, he is a member of the basketball and football team.

Tim is the son of John and Andrea Wright. He is an undecided major.
