David Olliver Named Interim Men’s Lacrosse Coach

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – David Olliver has been named interim head coach for men's lacrosse. He replaces Tony Smith, who has coached at Coker since 2010.

Olliver comes from Wingate University, where he has been an assistant coach since December 2008. Olliver played four years for the Wingate Bulldogs, anchoring one of the top defenses in the conference. He won the John R. Dodd Coaches Award during his senior year. Olliver holds a bachelor's degree in parks and recreation administration from Wingate.

Olliver will be joined by assistant coach Corey Geroy as well as Mike Moya, the assistant men's soccer coach, who will provide support in an interim role until the end of the season.
