Coker's Season Comes to an End with Loss to Queens

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker College men's lacrosse team closed out their inaugural season on Wednesday night with a 16-3 loss to Conference Carolinas foe Queens University of Charlotte.

John Bretton, Timothy Smith and Keith LaClair scored a goal each for the Cobras, while Josh Masciarelli made eight saves in the net.

LaClair finishes the season as the Cobras top goal scorer, netting 31 goals. Steven Marciano scored 20 goals and Bretton and Smith each scored 13. Ryan Vento was the team leader in assists with 17.

The McDonald's Player of the Game is presented by the Hartsville McDonald's and is given to the most outstanding performer during each Coker College home athletic event.
