Coker Lacrosse Falls to Saint Leo

SAINT LEO, Fla. – Keith LaClair (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) scored four goals to pace the Cobra lacrosse team in their 18-9 loss to Saint Leo University on Sunday afternoon.

In addition to LaClair's four-goal performance, John Bretton (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.) had a hat trick with three assists, while C.J. Bogue (Jupiter, Fla.) and Steven Marciano (Shirley, N.Y.) each scored a goal for the Cobras.

Adam Zinsmeister (Annapolis, Md.), Ryan Vento (Bellmore, N.Y.), Mikey Mazzola (Jupiter, Fla.) and Timothy Smith (Commack, N.Y.) each had an assist, while Josh Masciarelli (Binghamton, N.Y.) had nine saves and Christian Stevens (Mooresville, N.C.) had six saves in the net for Coker.

Coker returns home for their next game on Wednesday against Conference Carolinas rival Belmont Abbey College. Game time is 6 p.m. at Byerly Park in Hartsville.
