Coker Unable to Weather the Storm

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Steven Marciano (Shirley, N.Y.) netted a pair of goals and had an assist in the Coker lacrosse team's 13-5 loss to the Lake Erie Storm on Saturday night.

Keith LaClair (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) also added a pair of goals, improving his team-leading total to 18. Ryan Vento (Bellmore, N.Y.) added a goal and two assists, while John Bretton (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.) tallied an assist for the Cobras.

Josh Masciarelli (Binghamton, N.Y.) had four saves in the net and Christian Stevens (Mooresville, N.C.) picked up two saves.

The Cobras will be back at home for their next game on Friday, March 23, against Florida Tech. Game time is set for 6 p.m. at Byerly Park.

Marciano scored two goals and had two assists.
