The team finished the first day in 11th placed out of 17 teams. They team had a good outing on the first day but the golfers look to shoot low in the final day.

Led by Fred Tindale. Tindale finish the first day tied for 27th place as he shot a solid 75 though the first 18 and an impressive 71, one under par in his second round. Jonathan Hallinger and Mac Barclay finish the first day both tied for 43rd. Barclay shot a 74 and 75 as Hallinger shot a 76 in his first round and a 73 for his second round. Caleb Tidd had two decent rounds as he shot a 74 and 76 for his two rounds.  Killian Ryan rounded it out for the men as he shot 75 in the morning and 76 in the afternoon.

Coach John Hackney had this to say:

"Our men played some solid golf, but we just didn't make enough birdies to compete in a powerhouse field. You have to go under par if you want to challenge for the title. We only had seven first-round birdies and shot 7-over as a team. We had 11 in the second round, with Fred and Max carding five apiece.

I would like to see all five guys go under par tomorrow. I know they can do it!"
