CHUCKEY, TENN.- The Coker University men's golf team completed round one of action at the South Atlantic Conference Championship today hosted at the Graysburg Hills Golf Club in Chuckey, Tenn. 

The Cobras had a strong showing against some of the top ranked teams in the country and currently sit in sixth place with three Cobras inside the top 20 after 18 holes today. Coker shot a 287 (-1) today as a team.

Fred Tindale sits tied for fifth. Tindale shot a 68 (-4) today and was able to eagle his first hole of the day and convert four birdies. Jonathan Hallinger is tied for 10th after shooting a 71 (-2). Hallinger soht four birdies in his opening round today. Caleb Tidd is tied for 15th after shooting an even 72 (E) where he shot three birdies today. Coleman Bess shot a 76 (+4) in the opening round while Killian Ryan shot a 77 (+5).
