LOUDON, Tenn.- The Coker University men's golf team competed in day one of the Tennessee River Rumble. The men are competing against several other nationally ranked teams this week.

The completion of round two has been delayed until tomorrow morning due to darkness.

In round one the Cobras shot a 289 (+10) and currently sit in ninth place.

Killian Ryan shot a 73 (+1), Fred Tindale shot a 74 (+2), Jonathan Hallinger shot a 74 (+2), Coleman Bess shot a 77 (+5), and Caleb Tidd shot a 78 (+6).

"We need to come out  on fire in the cold to finish off round two, then go deep in the third round," Coach Hackney said. "We need to get in the top third to have a shot at an at-large bid to the NCAAs, so we need to rise to the challenge tomorrow and catch a bunch of teams."
