Cobras Bring Home Top-Five Finish at NCAA South/Southeast Regional Preview

CONOVER, N.C.- The Coker College men's golf team concluded play at the NCAA South/Southeast Regional Preview on Tuesday (Oct. 10), and will return home with a fifth place finish from the Rock Barn Golf Club. Wanjoo Lee finished tied for sixth overall as Zachary Herold and Ethan Cairns placed inside the top-30 in individual play. The Cobras capped off the tournament with a team score of 584. 

Wanjoo Lee fired off rounds of 73 and 70 to finish play tied for sixth overall. Zachary Herold shot a 73 for the second consecutive round, giving him a 36-hole total of 146 and finished tied for 18th. Ethan Cairns also shot a second round 73 and 148 tournament total to finish tied for 29th individually.

Nicolas Parra and Daniel Graves signed off on tournament scores of 149 and 154 on their scorecards to wrap up play from Conover, N.C.

The Coker College men's golf team's next match will be Monday and Tuesday (Oct. 16-17) at the Donald Ross Intercollegiate held at Mimosa Hills Country Club in Morganton, N.C.
