Coker's Ingle Named Second Team All-SAC

ROCK HILL, S.C. – Coker College men's golfer Taylor Ingle has been named to the South Atlantic Conference men's golf all-conference team, the league office announced today.

Ingle, a second team selection, is Coker's top performer this season, posting a season scoring average of 73.29 through 17 rounds. Currently, Ingle's scoring average is the fifth-lowest season scoring average in Coker men's golf history.

Ingle has finished inside the top-30 in all seven events so far this season, highlighted by one top-five showing and three other top-10 finishes. His third-place finish at the Queens Invitational, which Coker won, was his top performance of the season. He was also the top regional performer at the Queens Invitational, shooting rounds of 71 and 74. His low round of the season came at the Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate, where he shot a closing round of 69. The senior has the top win-lost record on the Coker roster, sporting a 480-83 (85.3 %) record on the season.

He is a business major from Winnsboro, S.C. He is the son of Rennie and Rick Ingle.

Ingle, along with the Coker men's golf team, will tee it up at the South Atlantic Conference Championship beginning on Sunday (Apr. 23).
