Coker Men's Golf Cracks Top-25 Nationally; Ranked Seventh Regionally

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker College men's golf team is ranked No. 24 in Division II in the most recent Golfstat rankings. The Cobras remained in the top-ten in the regional rankings, coming in at No. 7. 

Through seven tournaments this season, the Navy an Gold have recorded a win at the Queens Invitational, the top regional finish at the Kiawah Island Invitational, two runner-ups and two third-place showings.

As a group, the Cobras hold a 57-13-4 record against teams in the southeast region and have a .500 or better record against 25 of 29 regional teams they have faced.

Individually, Taylor Ingle is ranked No. 18 in the southeast region and No. 74 in Division II. Ingle, who has a 73.29 season scoring average, has four top-ten finishes this season, highlighted by a third-place finish at the Queens Invitational. Ingle was also the top performer from the southeast region at the Queens Invitational.

The Cobras will be back on the links on Apr. 23-25 for the South Atlantic Conference Championship.
